Karen had an upper management career of almost 40 years in the electrical supply industry, first with General Electric and then with Rexel, USA. This career path moved Ted and Karen across the country more than eight times and allowed for them to discover the east coast, midwest, and west coast lifestyle. Ted's career included sales, publishing, and real estate investments. Both are avid sports enthusiasts and are members of The Stone Canyon Club. Karen was a collegiate golfer while Ted was a competitive water skier as well as a participant in pickleball singles play at the Nationals in 2015 & 2016. Their son, Kyle, and daughter Madison, reside with them in the Northwest Tucson area. The Tucson Autism Society has played a role in the development of their special needs daughter Madison, along with programs such as Creative Care and Arts for All. The hope is to combine our interest and experience in ball sports to further enhance the lives of kids with developmental disabilities by providing ball court venues for local providers of special needs care.
