Able AllStars, Inc. & USA Ballcourts Ballcourts for Kids & Adults with Balance and Movement Disorders. Throw, Kick, and Paddle Activities!
Able Allstars, 501c3, announces plans to build outdoor ballcourts for Special Needs kids and adults with balance and movement disorders.
Parkinson's, MS, Brain Injuries, Orthopedic Injuries, Sports Rehab, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum, are among the groups we plan to offer programs.
Tucson architect Marc Soloway, has designed renderings for a clubhouse and ballcourts. The facility will include two ball courts with vertical walls having targets on each wall that users can test their balance and movement by either throwing, kicking, or paddle sports and ball to hit the targets. Reactive training lights will also be incorporated onto the vertical walls so users can step in front of the light station and chase the lights with their hands or feet or paddle in a timed sequence.
The clubhouse will offer retail space and a pro shop to serve the pickleball community. A big part of our pickleball service will be to provide a large selection of demo paddles to try before you buy. A Junior Pickleball Academy will be a key component to meeting our goal to promote the sport of pickleball to the younger generation as well as special needs kids and adults.
Restrooms and tables for small event seating along with self serve vending machines and outdoor Food Trucks will be offered.
